Rosie Taylor is a London-based cinematographer who combines her fine art background from Goldsmiths with over ten years of experience in the film industry. She is a member of the collective Illuminatrix Rising. Her films have been recognised with prestigious awards, including the Derek Jarman Award, and Best Short Film Cinematography in the European Cinematography Awards. Her work has been exhibited at Centre Pompidou, Huset for Kunst & Design, and the BFI London Film Festival, among others.

She is deeply drawn to lighting people within both natural and imagined architecture. Having often filmed dancers, she is attuned to movement, rhythm, and storytelling that appeals to the senses. Rosie enjoys discovering technical approaches that embody a film’s concept through its visual storytelling.
