I’m a London-based cinematographer and director with a fine art background from Goldsmiths with over ten years of experience in film. I began by co-directing moving image work as part of a collaborative art practice, and have spent the past eight years working primarily as a director of photography. I now work across both cinematography and directing.

I’m part of the film team at 5dB and a member of Illuminatrix Rising. My work has screened and exhibited internationally, including at Centre Pompidou, the BFI London Film Festival and as part of the Derek Jarman Award exhibition.

I’ve always been interested in observing people, which probably comes from an early love of making portraits. I’m also drawn to movement and place, and to finding visual and technical approaches that embody the ideas at the heart of a film.
