Rosie Taylor works across art and narrative film. She often collaborates on films which explore the body in space and dance within contemporary and political histories. She studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths University in 2011, before working as a camera assistant for critically acclaimed cinematographer Taina Galis amongst others. She filmed and co-edited many of Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hasting’s works, including ‘In My Room’ which won the Derek Jarman Award in 2020 and more recently worked on 'Becoming Creature' by Zoë Marden, which won Best Experimental Film in the London Film Awards and the Art Film Awards. Other directors she has collaborated with include Billy Klotsa, Maz Murray, Holly Pickering, Hotdesque, Oonagh Murphy, Alice May Williams, Gaby Sahhar, Onyeka Igwe, Meshach Falconer-Roberts and Leah Clements.

Her films have screened at galleries including the Centre Pompidou, Hayward Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, Huset for Kunst & Design and Mostyn Gallery as well as London Film Festival and distributed by LUX Moving Image.
