Rosie Taylor is a London-based director of photography who brings both her fine art background from Goldsmiths with over ten years experience in the film industry. Having often filmed dancers, she is sensitive to movement, rhythm in storytelling and lighting people within natural or imagined architecture.

She is a member of the collective Illuminatrix Rising. She filmed and co-edited many of Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hasting’s works, including ‘In My Room’ which won the Derek Jarman Award in 2020,  'Becoming Creature' by Zoë Marden, which won Best Experimental Film in the London Film Awards and the Art Film Awards. Other directors she has collaborated with include Billy Klotsa, Sin Wai Kin,
Abi Palmer, Grzegorz Stefanski, Maz Murray, Holly Pickering, Hotdesque, Oonagh Murphy, Alice May Williams, Gaby Sahhar, Onyeka Igwe, Meshach Falconer-Roberts and Leah Clements.

Her films have screened at galleries including the Centre Pompidou, Hayward Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, Huset for Kunst & Design and Mostyn Gallery as well as London Film Festival and distributed by LUX Moving Image.
